There is another alternative to buying quilt stickers. How about making them? It is not as difficult as it appears. If you are good with sketching then the whole process will seem easy. If you are familiar with drawing programs then the process will seem very easy.
To draw quilt stickers you would start out with ordinary paper and patiently draw your design on to the paper. When you are done you can fill the areas in with color using a magic marker. It helps to use a ruler and also a protractor. If you lay out the design before you start drawing it will make it easier. Once the design is completed you can cut it out of the paper and then use glue to put it somewhere. One disadvantage of this is that it is relatively permanent so you have to be careful where you put it.
If you have a computer then there is actually a simpler way to do this. Take a digital picture of your quilt and then import it into a photo program such as Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop is the most prevalent but there are others out there. You can even download some of the more basic ones for free. After it is in the drawing program you will scale it so that it is the size you need. You may want to have round quilt stickers, in which case you will draw a circle around just the part you want to keep and then discard the rest. After you have the design you want you can print it using the computer's printer. Many printers can print on paper that has adhesive on it so that you can have relatively professional quilt stickers for a fraction of the price. The newly created quilt stickers can go just about anywhere. Many of the adhesives are such that they are removable.
